Dr. Pascal Roussel
Project Leader - Coordinator - Translator

Pascal Roussel launched Spiderword in 1995 to provide technical translation services to various public, private and non profit organizations, with focus on climate and energy issues. Pascal has also worked within the federal Translation Bureau for seven years. He holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Bordeaux, France. Before founding SpiderWord in 1995, Pascal was involved in several fundamental and applied research programs in atmospheric sciences. He is a certified translator (Society of Translators and Interpreters of British Columbia, Canadian Translator, Terminologists and Interpreters Council).




André Cloutier

After obtaining a degree in Literature Study from the Université du Québec à Montréal (Québec, Canada), André Cloutier has gained more than years of experience in written communication. He has contributed his skills as a writer or linguistic reviser in numerous domains, including copy editing of text books specifically designed for distance education commissioned by TÉLUQ, the first and only university of Québec offering all of its programs through distance education.


Linguistic editor with SpiderWord since 2000, André also works as writer and copy editor who specializes in designing, writing and copy editing of specialized texts in the culture and tourism sectors.
